Questions, answered
Do I need to bring my own bottle?
No. You can buy a glass bottle at the machines and reuse it on every visit, or use one of our recyclable paper cups if you’re enjoying your milk or shake straight away.
Can I pay with cash?
We’re card payment only. Contactless is quickest.
Is the milk pasteurised?
Yes. Our milk is gently pasteurised and is only 4% fat, so it tastes the way milk should.
What milkshake flavours do you have?
There are 17 flavours to choose from at the machines.
Can I bring my dog?
Of course. We’re a favourite stop on local dog walks. We just ask that dogs stay on leads around the farmyard.
What about allergens?
It probably won’t come as a huge surprise that most of what we sell contains milk, after all, dairy is very much at the heart of what we do.
We do have a small selection of dairy-free options in the form of our lovely sorbets, and all other allergens are clearly labelled on the products themselves. We also keep all the relevant product data sheets on site, so if you’re ever unsure, just ask!
We’ve made the conscious choice not to stock the more typical dairy-free or milk alternatives — and that’s simply because we want Sutton Fresh to stay true to what we set out to do: Showcase fantastic local produce, Celebrate British farming & dairy, Serve fresh, quality products we genuinely believe in & Support brilliant producers from close to home
We know we won’t be able to cater for absolutely everyone — and that’s okay. We’d rather do what we know, love and believe in, and do it really well.

Are you a farm shop?
Yes, a self-serve one. Our milk comes from the herd 25 metres away, and we stock eggs, butter, cheese, cakes and honey from producers close to home. Everything comes from the machines, so we’re open 7am to 10pm every day, card payment only.
